Who are we?

"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."
How many people really act like themselves? From such a young age we are falling under peer pressure. As well as pressure from Media. The way we talk, text, dance, walk, write, dress, and do our hair and make-up is all influenced by others.
The photo above is one taken by me, of a sixth grader on her graduation from Elementary School. After complimenting her outfit, I asked what made her decide to wear it. Her reply was "I saw Selena Gomez wearing tights like these." Are celebrities really the people we should be following? I am not saying Celebrities are bad people, we are all human. But sometimes they can have more pressure to do bad then us "normal" people do.
Today would be a good day to figure out whose footsteps you will follow. And whose footsteps you want your children following.

"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting."
